Whilst firmly planted in the realms ov "DEATH METAL INTRO MUSIC", this release finds IoS in a completely different atmosphere... One that draws from Death Metal riffs, Industrial and Black Metal sound aesthetics, and burning seething anger. DEATH DOWNLOAD is an aural assault, whereas other IoS recordings are journeys. Thus, we find Jamie on the guitar helm, pounding out riffs whilst Myk mans the drum machine and vocal duties. Recorded in tandem with the first ever IoS ambient experiments, this is finally ready to see the light ov day in the dark ov night.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight).
